All Suzka Jewelry pieces are handcrafted in Barbados from start-to-finish by a Barbadian Jewelry Artist, Suzanne Terho. Suzanne's signature pieces are thread and wire crochet necklaces and bracelets with various semi-precious stones (Amethyst, Amazonite, Turquoise, Rose Quartz, Cat's Eye, Onyx, Sandstone, etc.), freshwater pearls, mother-of-pearl, Swarovski crystals, high-quality glass beads, and sea shells. All stones, beads and crystals are crochet directly onto the jewelry pieces. Suzanne is one of few jewelry artists in the world that has managed to master the technique of wire crocheting. This makes all Suzka jewelry rare and unique. The crochet technique and the "free form" creative design process employed by Suzanne ensures that, while some designs may appear similar no two pieces are identical. Suzka jewelry boxes are decorated by hand with authentic Barbados beach sand and sea shells and accompanied by a "thank you" card signed by Suzanne. |
